The mission of the Minnesota Council (MCEE) is to provide
      Minnesotans with the economic and financial understanding they
      need to function effectively in a complex, global environment.
      MCEE accomplishes this mission by developing and conducting
      teacher and community education programs,
      as well as student competitions.


      Upcoming Programs:

      We will continue to accept applications for the
      Personal Finance Summer Institute for College Readiness
      (for high school students) throughout the month of May.

      June 24-26: Personal Finance Camp (for teachers, grades 6-12)

      July 8-12: Preparing to Teach High School Economics

      July 15-19: Using Children's Literature to Teach Economics
                          and Personal Finance

      July 24: Learning, Earning, and Investing

      July 30 - August 1: Energy and the Environment Camp

      July 30 - August 1: Middle School Economics for Social Studies
                                      Teachers

      August 12: Advanced Macro for the High School Classroom

      August 13-14: Conference on Teaching Economics and
                              Personal Finance
