The Online Test of Economic Literacy (TEL) is a nationally-normed, standardized
test developed by the National Council on Economic Education.
In terms of national priorities, Economics has been identified as a "Core
Academic Subject" in the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 [Title
IX, Section 9101(11)]. The Act also requires the development of a national assessment
to determine what 12th graders know and can do in Economics.
Do you know how well your students are doing?
