High School Economics Workshop - Twin Cities

High School Economics, 3rd Edition
November 8, 2014
1985 Buford Ave
McNeal Hall, Room 10
Saint Paul, MN 55108

This one-day workshop, taught by Master Teachers Emily Anderson and Ann Scharfenberg, introduces teachers to the new Council for Economic Education (CEE) publication High School Economics, 3rd Edition and provides detailed instruction on using this resource and the learning activities within.

Thanks to generous support from 3Mgives and CEE, all participants will receive a FREE copy of High School Economics, 3rd Edition. The new edition of High School Economics contains 28 lessons to teach micro and macroeconomics and is updated to include more contemporary references that highlight new challenges in a world that has changed significantly since the 2nd edition was published 11 years ago. It integrates more macroeconomics and international economics lessons, and select lessons feature interactive online activities.

Registration is $25. Participating teachers will receive this registration fee back, plus an additional $50 stipend, based on full participation in the workshop. Participants receive curriculum materials, a copy of High School Economics, 3rd Edition, and lunch (breakfast will not be included). Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) are available based on full participation in the workshop.
