Colleen Gray

Colleen Gray is the Education Director at the Minnesota Council on Economic Education (MCEE). Prior to her work in education, Colleen was a Program Director and Human Resources Divisional Director for Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota and a Human Resources Manager for Cargill, Incorporated.


Colleen has produced and led hundreds of in-person and virtual professional development training and created a variety of elementary curriculum resources such as “Female Pioneers in Economics” and “Using Children’s Literature Written by BIPOC Authors to Teach Economics”. She is passionate about diversity, equity, inclusivity, and belonging and is committed to ensuring MCEE resources encompass all learners.  She is currently in training to become a Racial Justice Facilitator.


She has a Master’s degree from the College of St. Scholastica and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls.


In her free time, you will find Colleen on the pickleball court, mentoring elementary students, traveling with family and friends, or watching the Minnesota Wild hockey team.
