Friends of Social Studies | November 2021

MCEE was among six outstanding state social studies organizations honored by the Minnesota Council for the Social Studies at the “Grand Evening at the History Center” event, which was held on November 19, 2021 at the Minnesota History Center, St. Paul, MN. This event was held in conjunction with the virtual 101st National Council for the Social Studies Annual Conference.

The following six social studies organizations were recognized as “Friends of Social Studies” by the Minnesota Council for the Social Studies for both their organization's individual contributions to professional development for K-12 social studies teachers in Minnesota, as well as their collective efforts to advance teacher development in social studies through their collaboration as members of the Minnesota Center for Social Studies Education.
