Community Mentorship

Understanding economics and personal finance isn't just important for students and teachers - it can make a real difference in the lives of some of Minnesota's most vulnerable and under-served populations. In order to reach these Minnesotans in the communities where they live, the Minnesota Council on Economic Education (MCEE) partners with our affiliated center in the University of Minnesota-Extension to train local nonprofits to deliver this critical information to the people most in need.

For more than 15 years, MCEE has worked to increase the financial confidence and capability of individuals and communities across the state through these partnerships and has directly changed the lives of more than 3,000 individuals through its supported partner programs.
