In time for this summer’s World Cup, learn new strategies to bring economics and personal finance to life in the classroom. Each day has a special theme, introducing the foundations of economics & personal finance, connecting concepts to real-world applications, and interdisciplinary connections. 

Zoom participants who attend all sessions over the three days will be awarded 6 CEU credits and a $120 stipend (K-8 MN licensed teachers), and reimbursement of the $50 registration fee (K-8 MN licensed teachers and MN pre-service teachers)

In collaboration with Next Gen Personal Finance, embark on a transformative learning experience with our MCEE Educator Certification: High School Personal Finance course at the University of Minnesota St. Paul campus. This immersive program is specially crafted for high school educators new (or newish) to teaching personal finance or unfamiliar with its content. This unique professional development blends engaging content, hands-on experiences, and exclusive networking opportunities to ensure that teachers leave ready and equipped to teach high school personal finance.

MCEE Educator Certification: High School Economics - Beginner is a week-long workshop designed for Minnesota certified teachers who are new (or new-ish) to teaching high school economics. This unique professional development blends engaging content, hands-on experiences, and exclusive networking opportunities to ensure that teachers leave ready and equipped to teach high school economics. 

Building upon the foundational knowledge from the MCEE Educator Certification: High School Economics - Beginner, this MCEE Educator Certification: High School Economics - Intermediate is designed for educators looking to deepen their understanding and instructional strategies in economics. This next-level certification will focus on advanced content application, data analysis, and real-world economic modeling to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
