Advocacy, Education, and Support for Teachers

• History: Formed in fall 2022, and has grown to over 350 individuals and over 20 organizations.

• Mission: To advocate for the passage of a required personal finance course requirement in MN and to help train and support teachers to deliver the course once passed.

2026 Update 

As the goals of the FLCM have been mainstreamed through MCEE’s structure, we are folding the FLCM Newsletter into a new MCEE economic and financial literacy supporter/stakeholder newsletter called The Multiplier Effect. What will not change is MCEE’s commitment to advancing economic and financial literacy education in Minnesota.
