The Personal Finance Challenge is an exciting competition for high school students to practice real-world skills in managing money and solving problems.
Teams of students compete online to demonstrate their knowledge of fundamental personal finance topics, with the top teams being invited to the state competition to showcase their talent in addressing real-world financial challenges and communicating effectively.
This is one of our most popular programs for students and provides an opportunity for students to consider how their own lives are shaped by the financial decisions they make today. One team will advance to represent Minnesota in the national competition in May.
The Minnesota Council on Economic Education is grateful to Allianz Life, RBC Wealth Management, the Aegon Transamerica Foundation, the Travelers Foundation, and the U.S. Bank Foundation for their generous support of the 2025 Personal Finance Challenge competition.
